Changes in your pet's stool color and consistency are normal when pets are fed a freshly cooked diet, especially if they are coming from a dry or canned diet.
During a transition to a fresh diet, the bacteria and nutrients found in the intestinal tract are changing, which means pets may have looser stools and go more frequently as they adjust. You may also occasionally notice some undigested ingredients in their stool. This isn't problematic, and shouldn't prompt concern as there are still plenty of nutrients within the diet.
With time, your pet's stools should become firmer and they will likely be going less frequently. This is a great sign and means your pet has adapted to digesting the nutrients in a fresh diet! However, if stomach troubles continue for an extended period of time or you are seeing the bulk of the ingredients look completely undigested, we recommend contacting your veterinarian as they will have a better picture of your pet's medical history.
