Wondering where the ice in your order went? We package your dog's meals with dry ice, which sublimates (and disappears) on its own during shipping, so there may be little to no dry ice remaining once you open your box. You may also wonder why the bag containing the dry ice is open when it arrives. That's because when dry ice sublimates it turns directly from a solid to the gas carbon dioxide and the bag would pop from the gas build up if it were sealed!
Rest assured, whether your meals arrive frozen or not, as long as they are cool to the touch they're safe to serve. We do advise that you store them in the freezer immediately once they've arrived, and then defrost and serve as needed!
